Camping at Shepherds Views Holidays - Self Catering, Touring & Camping in Cumbria's Lake District, West Coast

There is a large grassed area for camping and we also provide an immaculate family/unisex amenity block with underfloor heating, showers, washbasins & toilet facilities. There are also electric hairdryers and shaving points.
Local shops and facilities are just over a mile away at Seascale.
Perfect location to explore the beaches and the Wasdale valley, tour the areas attractions and keep clear of the Lake District crowds.
Amazing how close the traditional Lake District visitor attractions and areas are, although to get there you would have to tackle Hardknott Pass. A worthy adversary for any walker, cyclist or even car! There are of course easier ways, but they just take longer.
Anyway, why would you want to go to the crowds when you have this fantastic countryside on your doorstep to explore.
Shepherds Views campsite is set with a backdrop of the Wasdale hills & valley. Wastwater was voted Britain's Favourite View in the recent ITV series of the same name.
Camp Fires 
- New for the Summer Holidays, your own campfire -
Shepherds Views Holidays camp site now provides designated camp fire pitches, which include an area for your camp fire and are made up of a steel rimmed fire pit. However, only limited pitches available, so advisable to book to avoid disappointment.
We also sell matches, firelighters & logs on site for your use. (Due to unsuitable wood having been brought by guests we can only allow logs purchased from ourselves to be used.) Large Bags of logs - £4.00 per bag
Please note no other camp fires/fire pits are allowed on site. The electric hook up pitches are separate from the campfire pitches.

Bank Holidays minimum of 3 nights
For Bank Holiday Weekends all pitches with ehu & all campfire pitches - Balance is due one week prior to arrival.

Awnings & gazebos - No Extra Charge
Dogs are welcome (but a maximum of two please) £2.00 per dog.
Please note - Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times and must not be left unattended on site.
Arrivals: You may occupy your pitch from 1pm onward
(unless prior arrangements have been made.)
Departures: You must vacate your pitch by 11am
(unless prior arrangements have been made.)
Inclusive: All prices are inclusive of showers and the shower block facilities.
Deposits: The equivalent of one nights stay
Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations/non-arrivals
Payments: Cash or Debit & Credit cards are accepted. Please note that we don't accept cheques.
Seasonal pitches (subject to availability) - £1,200
Winter Storage (outdoor walled compound) - £40 per calendar month
All Year Round Storage - £370
